Here's some stuff I've been meaning to blog and some stuff that I've just found today:
Three from WebUrbanist:
10 Amazing Tree Houses from Around the World: Sustainable, Unique and Creative Designs
The title really says it all; several of them are pretty amazing.
Surprise: World’s Tallest Structure Isn’t a Skyscraper
Spoiler: it's an oil rig.
5 Incredible Works of Insane Architectural Genius: Wooden Skyscrapers to Recycled Wonderlands
Again, some pretty amazing stuff.
This next one was on Digg, but someone posted a comment that the linked entry was basically just stolen from Wikipedia:
Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.
The preceding is a gramatically correct sentence, meaning "[Those] buffalo(es) from Buffalo [that are intimidated by] buffalo(es) from Buffalo intimidate buffalo(es) from Buffalo." That's the short of it; for the long of it, check the wikipedia link.
And lastly, another excellent post from indexed:
The Vatican announces 7 NEW flavors of sin!
...including not recycling petri dishes and non-union moat diggers. Possibly the best indexed ever.
