Good luck cutting Palin's glasses, you'll need a pretty sharp knife and a really rigid pumpkin.
I want to see these pumpkins two weeks after you carve them when the teeth are caving in. Just a little foreshadowing of days to come.
Cool! I don't have the patience to carve anything too intricate. I'm all for basic shapes.
A couple weekends ago, I had my niece and nephew over for a slumber party and we carved pumpkins. They had never carved one by themselves, so I drew a design on the pumpkins for them to follow with the knife. I asked for their input as I drew, so they'd feel it was their design. Well, they got pretty elaborate in their descriptions - Porter wanted a Star Wars ship - so I finally had to admit to them that their aunt is seriously deficient in the art department. They accepted it pretty well, though I know they both cried a little in their pillows that night. Hope your pumpkins turn out just as nicely! I agree with Framed, it would be fun to see pictures of your finished products. Add Comment
