Aeon Flux comics, movie

In looking for the link for the Serenity comics for my last entry, I noticed that Dark Horse comics is doing a 4-part Aeon Flux comic series. I used to love Aeon Flux. Aeon Flux, you may remember, was a cartoon that started as a series of little shorts on MTV's Liquid Television. This looks pretty cool.

And, while looking for the Aeon Flux links on google, I saw a link to the Aeon Flux movie's official site. Sadly, it appears to use some annoying flash that won't load correctly for me. So, here's the IMDB link for it. Charlize Theron will be Aeon, which I think is an interesting choice since she doesn't much look like Aeon. Also interesting is that it will have Jonny Lee Miller, best known (to me, at least) as Zero Cool in Hackers (which also starred Angelina Jolie who was in Taking Lives with Keifer Sutherland who was in A Few Good Men with Kevin Bacon). Aeon Flux is one of those things that'd be hard to get right, since the cartoon was just so weird. But, if it was done right, it could be a really cool movie.
