I'm not exactly sure why, but I find (renowned security expert) Bruce Schneier's entry on a new security method for Torahs fascinating.

Torah Security

Basically, all Torah's must be exact copies of another Torah, with absolutely no modifications. So when they're stolen, it's impossible to identify the stolen one.

It's short, so I won't quote any of it. There's some interesting comments, too.

wow, and even after I haven't responded to you email from a couple weeks ago. I'm touched.

I saw something recently that I was going to send you. It was a FAQ on some site talking about Americans and lumped Canadians in with them. I'll see if I can find it...
